RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Food Pairings for Domaine des Préauds Pouilly-Fuissé
Pretty much what I expect from a French chardonnay. Quite dry and understated. Light to medium weight in the mouth. Slight fruit "sweetness." as opposed to the overload that I get in a lot of California chardonnay's. Slight bitterness in the finish that dimishes quickly. Overall, a good wine. US$14.99 at Total Wine in February.
Crisp, clean with a mineral bite. Little to no oak. Some acid in the middle that stays a while.
