Domaine des Malandes Chablis 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

An iconic wine, packaged in our striking wooden presentation box with straw filling. The family run 29 hectare Domaine des Malandes has establishes itself ober 40 years as a producer of high-quality, keenly priced wines that have proved consistent over the years we have been tasting and buying them. This is a fantastic example of what village level Chablis is capable of, and delivers in spades what one hopes for and expects in a wine bearing the Chablis name. Made from the fruit of vines with an average age of 35 years and fermented in stainless steel; this wine has an intensely mineral nose and crisp grapefruit aromas, which give way to citrus and green apple flavours on the palate, finishing steely and dry. A great dinner party wine: serve lightly chilled alongside seafood, fish or white meats. Drinking great now but can be kept till 2019.
