"The 2004 Clos des Caillerets will make a lovely bottle of Puligny, as it shares with the most successful white wines of this vintage a beautiful balance and transparency down to the underlying terroir. The nose on the wine offers up a classy blend of apple, quince, chalky soil tones, spring flowers and a touch of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is medium-full, crisp and floral, with a fine core of fruit, lovely balance, and fine length and grip on the long, crunchy finish.
