Domaine des Glycines Appelation Chiroubles Controlee 2006

Member Review by duncan 906:

I bought my first bottles of this excellent wine from Eric and Pauline Morin at the London France Show in 2009 and liked it so much I later e-mailed them and got them to send me a case.In the UK,thanks to Beaujolais Nouveau, Beaujolais does not have a great reputation but Chiroubles is one of the communes known as Cru Beaujolais and therefore the wine is labeled as Chiroubles and not Beaujolais. The grape variety is Gamay. It is a beautiful wine to drink. It has fruit and it is also smooth and subtle.Every sip oozes quality. It is also excellent value for money.Eric and Pauline also make a sparkling rose and a Morgon which I have also tasted
