Domaine des Croix Beaune Bressandes Premier Cru 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

91-93 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): The 2010 Beaune Bressandes is an attractive, generous wine laced with black cherries, tar, licorice, spices and violets. Underlying notes of minerality support the fruit through to the intense finish. There are some elements of wildness that appear in the glass, but they don't materially detract from the wine's energy and focus. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2020. (Feb 2012)

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
