I would definety recommend this crisp fruity gem. First time I have tried this blend of Ugni Blanc and Colombard and it was memorable. At $7 I will be drinking more of this as an everyday white.

Awarded “Winemaker of the Year” by the International Wine Challenge in London, Domaine du Tariquet has gained recognition and admiration for taking a non-traditional approach to the the wines of the Gascogne region. Originally and Armagnac house they started producing table wines in the 80’s with unique blends like this one of 70% Ugni Blanc and 30% Colombard. all sustainably grown. Meticulous handling, including placing the grapes directly from the vines into isothermal vats to prevent oxidation, results in an extremely fresh and true expression of the grapes and the terroir. Refreshing and delicious this wine shows floral aromas and bright citrus flavors with a touch of exotic spice on the finish.
