Domaine de Pellehaut Chardonnay Vin de Pays des Cotes de Gascogne 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Great care was taken when vinifying this noble variety. 70% was vinified in stainless steel with 30% in new oak barrels, followed by 6 months on its fine lees with regular stirring. Its beautiful colour is supported by very expressive aromas of white flowers and vanilla. The palate is delicate and offers harmonious balance between the freshness of the fruit and the roundness of the Chardonnay. Serve chilled, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif but also with white meat, fish, spiced dishes and goat cheese.
