Domaine de Pallus Chinon 2007
Opaque garnet hue, aromas of raspberries and flowers; flavor notes of earthy black raspberries, wet green leaves and tobacco, with fine tannins integrated to a moderately long finish.
Balanced and well-integrated cab franc. On the nose green veggies (initially pronounced) plus notes of floral and leaves and mild fruit and spice. In the mouth chaulky tannins and tastes of berry fruit and spice. Finishes with a bit of wood and lingers with some tannin at the front of the mouth. Pretty tasty for what it is.
