Blend: 40% Syrah, 40% Grenache Noir and 20% Mourvedre With a brilliant violet tint, the 2006 Domaine de Nizas Rose reveals an expressive bouquet mixing red berry fruits, marshmallow notes and minerality. On the palate, the aging on the lees brings a fuller mouth feel that balances the dryness. This cuvee is a refreshingly crisp wine that embodies the Domaine's style of finesse, elegance and complexity. This powerful and elegant Mediterranean wine will be the ideal partner to a lamb tajin with candied grapes and almonds or braised duck with licorice sauce.
