Good perfume and ripe fruit. Young and light. Very fresh. Tight, good black fruit. Very pure fruit. Drink 2007-10.

The 2001 Cotes du Rhone-Villages Seguret Tradition reveals a saturated ruby/purple color in addition to a big bouquet of blackberries, raspberries, cherries, licorice, chocolate, and earth. This spicy, rich, structured, dense 2001 is a serious wine to enjoy over the next 7-8 years. Domaine de Mourchon offers a strong case for being the finest estate from Seguret. -Wine Advocate
