RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes (350 cases produced) was made from low yields of 15 hectoliters per hectare. This wine oozes black raspberry and blackberry fruits intermixed with floral, forest floor, garrigue and ground pepper notes. Exceptionally pure, textured and built like a skyscraper, this sensational effort will drink well for 20andndash;25+ years.
Opaque ruby. Intense, spice-accented aromas of candied raspberry, boysenberry, incense and fresh flowers. Stains the palate with deeply concentrated berry fruit and floral pastille flavors but carries no excess weight. Becomes spicier with air and finishes with superb clarity, energy and sweet floral persistence. This wineandrsquo;s fruit and floral expression is really breathtaking.
The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes, which comes from 90- to 100+-year-old vines and is a blend of 98% Grenache and 2% other varieties (primarily Cinsault) aged in cement, was cropped from 12 hectoliters per hectare, compared to the 2009andrsquo;s 15 hectoliters per hectare. That is essentially nothing short of financial suicide. This wine, which reminds the Armenier sisters somewhat of the 2001 vintage in its style, is very concentrated and has a dense purple color as well as a beautifully sweet nose of licorice, pepper, garrigue, blueberry, black raspberry and blackberry fruit. This is distinctive, compelling Chateauneuf du Pape that comes from their oldest vines, located in three of the best lieux-dits in Chateauneuf du Pape andmdash; La Crau in the eastern sector, Gallimardes in the south and Esquirons in the middle. This wine has wonderfully silky tannin, but it is definitely noticeable, and I suspect 3andndash;5 years of cellaring is warranted. It should drink well for 20andndash;25 years at the minimum.
"The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape (74% Grenache, 14% Mourvedre, 9% Syrah and 3% Cinsault aged two-thirds in cement tanks and one-third in wood foudres) has a dense ruby/purple color, a sweet nose of floral-infused blueberry liqueur, a striking minerality, impressive concentration, and a solid, dense core of fruit and glycerin. This is a classic and potentially long-lived Marcoux that should drink well for 15 or more years...91-93" WA 10/11 "The 2010 Domaine de Marcoux Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a rough blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Mourvedre, 7% Syrah, and 3% Cinsault that is aged mostly in concrete tank, is a classic 2010 that exhibits gorgeous aromas of black raspberry, saddle leather, sappy garrigue, and licorice qualities on the nose. Perfumed, rich, and sweetly fruited, this has a surprisingly structured, focused feel on the palate, with excellent concentration, plenty of tannin, and a lengthy finish. It will be a long-lived Châteauneuf-du-Pape that needs 3-4 years of bottle age, and will shine for 15+....95+" RR 10/12
