Domaine de l'Obrieu Cuvée les Antonins Visan 2007

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

The 35andndash;60 year-old vines that supply this 90/10 blend of Grenache and Syrah are high in elevation and south-facing, ensuring a decidedly Mediterranean influence andmdash; which means more structure and darker flavors (think black currant and really dark cherries) than most Rhandocirc;nes. Grenache is dominant, but with a concentration level surpassed only by some Chandacirc;teauneuf-du-Papes. Stunning value from this great 2007 vintage.

Racy and focused, with delicious beam of raspberry ganache, graphite and melted licorice notes. Solid length and focus. Very tasty. Drink now.
