Winemaker's Notes:
Tasting Notes: "Pic Saint Loup Appellation Coteaux du Languedoc Contrôlée". Percentage Grape: - 70% Syrah. - 30 % Grenache. Soil: - Brown soil on a chalky, scree slope from the creataceous period. - An altitude of 150 to 200 metres above sea-level. - A North-East exposure for the Syrah variety (at the foot of Pic Saint Loup cliff). - An intermediate exposure for the Grenache variety. Growing Climate: "Cool Mediterranean" Vinification Length: - length : 10 months in stainless steel vats for the Syrah and Grenache. Vinification Method: - Classic (harvest de-stemmed and crushed). - Vatting period of 25 days. - Pumping-over twice daily until halfway through the vatting period, then daily. Vinification Temperature: - Maximum temperature of 32°C. Alcohol Percentage: 13.5 % Total Acidity: 2.92 g H2SO4/l. Free SO2: 21 mg/l.

Nice to visit. In a stunning region of France the wine makery and vinyard are situated just of the main road. The tasting room is above the botteling line, which gives a true feeling of authenticity.
