Domaine de l'Hortus Red Rhone Blend Coteaux du Languedoc Pic St. Loup 2007
External Review:
This luscious red starts off restrained but builds to a sumptuous finish. Beautifully articulated cherry, cassis, red plum and spice flavors, with just a touch of leather and pepper. Balanced and lively. Drink now through 2000.

Nice to visit. In a stunning region of France the wine makery and vinyard are situated just of the main road. The tasting room is above the botteling line, which gives a true feeling of authenticity.

A blend of Chardonnay, Viognier and a touch of Sauvignon Blanc. A wonderful white from "the garden" of Languedoc.

Immense young nose, thick with wild blueberry and star anise. A smoky herb and white pepper quality mixes with rich, ample wild berry and black cheery fruits.
