Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes: "Vin de Pays du Val de Montferrand". South of the France, at 25 km in the North of Montpellier). Percentage Grape: - 70% Chardonnay. - 25 % Viognier. - 5% Roussanne. Soil: - Brown soil on coarse alluvial deposits from the quaternary period or on chalky-marly parent rock or on scree slopes with chalk fragments at the foot of the cliff. - Sub-horizontal slope. - An altitude of 120 metres above sea level. - Medium exposure. Growing Climate: " Damp and cool Mediterranean" (particulary damp and cool in September 2002). Vinification Method: - Direct pressing. - Cold settling. - Fermentation in new oak barrels. - Length of fermantation : 4 weeks. Age of Barrel: - News barrels. Type of Wood: - Oaks from the forest of Allier. Alcohol Percentage: 13.5 % Aging Time: - 8 months. Sugar Rate: 0-5 g/l
