Soil: - Brown soil on coarse alluvial deposits from the quaternary period or on chalky-marly parent rock or on scree slopes with chalk fragments at the foot of the cliff. - Sub-horizontal slope. - An altitude of 120 metres above sea level. - Medium exposure. Growing Climate: " Damp and cool Mediterranean" (particulary damp and cool in September 2002). Vinification Method: - Direct pressing. - Cold settling. - Fermentation in new oak barrels. - Length of fermantation : 4 weeks. Age of Barrel: - News barrels.
