Medium bodied and nicely spiced red from Vaucluse. Aromas and flavors of white pepper and Provençal herbs (such as lavender) are all balanced and enjoyed in this flavorful wine. Perfect for roasted chicken or turkey.
Medium bodied with bright berry flavors, this affordable red blend is great for everyday. Don't know what's for dinner? Grab this bottle and it will go with nearly everything. The tannins are really soft and the finish has a touch of peppery spice. From grilled tuna to pasta to chicken, it's a great match.
A deep garnet wine, it has aromas of ripe, purple plums, black pepper, tarragon and cocoa, followed by flavors of dark cherry, fig, blackberry, tar dust and licorice. The wine is bright, crisp and plummy with a good, zesty finish. Enjoy with grilled lamb chops or boeuf bourguignon. Consider decanting, as it is young, but buy a case because it will be even better next year!
From this high quality estate in the village of Cairanne, the inexpensive 2000 VDP de Vaucluse (a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 20% Carignan) reveals a medium ruby color along with a charming berry and strawberry perfume, medium body, a soft texture, and an easily understood personality. Enjoy it over the next 1-2 years.
This wine is one of our best values from the Southern Rhône region. It is hard to believe that such a seductive, intense, full-bodied wine can be found at such a reasonable price. Appetizing aromas of blackberries and scrub brush.

Founded in 1790, this domaine is in the village of Cairrane in the Côtes du Rhône. A blend of 60% Grenache, 15% Carignane, 15% Syrah and 10% Cinsault from young vines, it has a forward style of pure, spicy fruit that can benefit from a slight chill before serving. Daniel Johannes of the world-famous Le Montrachet restaurant in New York selected this as his best value red wine. (It costs a bit more in his restaurant.)
