- Extremely deep colour (twice as deep as the 2000 had) and really breathtaking nose. Very strong raspberry and cherry aromas. Much more generous than in most vintages. Enormous weight but with its strength obviously still bubbling up through this great mass of ripe fruit. Notes of autumn undergrowth yet charm and great vigour. Lucky people who have this in their cellars. I'd try it from about 2007.
