Domaine de la Petite Cassagne Red Rhone Blend Costières-de-Nîmes Rosé 2010
Another outstanding value as well as an outstanding wine, is the 2010 Red, which is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Cinsault. A melange of red and blue fruits, along with loamy soil notes, tobacco leaf and Provencal herbs all jump from the glass of this front end-loaded, perfumed wine. It is medium to full-bodied and exhibits plenty of deep, dark fruit and a good, spicy finish.
Totally yummy. Rich, zippy and dry with a touch of acidity on the nose but a smooth, well-balanced finished. Great bargain on a quality French red.
Light floral-berry on the nose. Strawberry / watermelon palate with a hint of spice. Mid-range acidity with a hint of sweetness. A lighter medium body with a light cinnamon / watermelon finish. Definitely best to drink young, so don't hold on to it for too long.
Very smooth with soft tannins.
Fruity, rich, nice finish
Medium-fullness, mild tannin not bad by itself or with meal
appearence penoy, aroma of fruit and nuts, floral flavor, low taste
