Domaine de la Fouquette Cotes de Provence Rose Cuvee Rosee d'Aurore 2013
Green and crisp. Hints of green pepper and pineapple gummy. Spice and herbal components. Cranberry and lime. Acid up front. Lingers toward back palate.Add winemaker's notes
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
Green and crisp. Hints of green pepper and pineapple gummy. Spice and herbal components. Cranberry and lime. Acid up front. Lingers toward back palate.
Balanced and centered with a mature and complex taste. Well knit-together, although light-bodied its elements seem similar to a well-aged red (without the big effects). Nose of flowers, rocks, leaves, mild citrus, and mild bubblegum. Tastes similar on the palate, plus hints of strawberry and ripe hard cheese. Medium to short finish. Dry to off-dry. Acid medium or less. Quite tasty and worth a try for the price.
