Domaine de la Charbonniere Chateauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

92-94 points Jeb Dunnuck (Wine Advocate): The most structured of the 2012s, the 2012 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is a classic, old vine Grenache cuvee that has loads of kirsch, blackberry, ground herbs, leather and underbrush aromas and flavors. Ample tannin emerges on the medium to full-bodied palate and this beauty will need a year or three to become approachable. Drink 2017-2026. (Oct 2013)
