The brilliant 2003 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Renaissance is 85% Grenache and 15% new oak-aged Mourvedre. Its dense purple color is accompanied by glorious aromas of creosote, crushed rocks, blueberries, blackberries, and flowers.
