OCCUPATION What is a wine-maker! His occupation defines him: he cultivates his vines, works the soil and prunes the plants, carefully nurturing them against pest and disease until the grapes have reached perfect ripenesse. Then he carefully harvests the fruit. presses the grapes. and closely controls the vinilication process until the precious nectar is ready for bottling. The modern wine-maker also must commercialise his products.manage the distribution channels and thus his wine finally reaches the consumer’s table. TRADITION The fourth generation of the jaccoud family is now working in Domaine Chantemerle. Our Domaine offers both varietals and blended wines. Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
