Not an overly complex aroma but a highly attractive palate - upfront sweetness, rounded and smooth with a hint of tannin and a balancing acidity. Good herb, spice and hints enlivens a plumy richness of flavour. Smooth and drinkable enough to slurp without food - it is that richness and sweetness helping it all along but there is enough weight to accompany food.
