Member Review by richardUK:

Garnet coloured. Medium intensity nose - quite oakey - developing nose of spicey, cooked fruit and cinnamon. Quite complex. Dry wine with well balanced tannins and good body & length.

The 2010 Cornas Champelrose exhibits a black/purple color along with a floral note, and a terrific, full-bodied texture with gorgeous ripeness, purity and expansiveness. This savory, full-throttle, compelling Cornas will benefit from 2–3 years of cellaring and drink well for two decades or more.

Inky ruby. Sexy, mineral-accented aromas of red fruit liqueur, violet and spicecake. Lithe and precise on the palate, offering vibrant black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a hint of licorice. Quite elegant for the vintage. Finishes tangy and long, with clarity, focus and silky tannins.
