The Copa di Vino company is a single pour wine by the glass, a culture an team of enthusiastic people who are passionate about wine andwho really love coming to work every day to provide American drinkers with the best access to premium wine that is posible. Since the dawn of time, wine has ben trapped in the bottle. Copa di vino is a company of "bottle breakers" who work every day to "kick the bottle", so to speak, and give the work a better way to enjoy wine. With Copa, you can have wine any time, any where. There is no need for a bottle, corkscrew, and glass -- just open and enjoy.  From the beginning, James Martin wanted to create a company for which he would like to work. James has created a culture that celebrates family and an entrepreneurial vision that couldn't help but be contagious to others. People at Copa di Vino all share a passion for James' vision.  James has believed from the beginning that goof wine should be enjoyed anywhere. James and his wife, Molli, conceived of the Copa glass on a bullet train ride through the South of France. After the couple returned to the States, James began a two year journey of perfecting the technology that would allow him to bottle wne right in the glass. It didn't come without its challenges -- he lost his first batch of wine to stability issues. He regrouped and refused to give up. He was all in. As a seventh generation Oregon farmer, James and his family had sold the family farm to fund Copa di Vino. There was so turning back. He went all in and this time got the order -- Mardi Gras wanted Copa di Vino. The company found a new beginning and within four years has grown to 48 states and nearly 13,000 retail locations.    James worked hard at mantaining that culture through the successes and growth Copa has enjoyed over the years. Copa di Vino is one of the largest employers in his hometown, The Dalles, Orego. It's a struggling small town that James has pledged to help rebuild. Copa di Vino is housed in a 100-year-old flour mill that was a town eyesore and destined for demolition. Again, he had a vision, and with Copa di Vino he was able to revive the mill, saving a piece of town history while providingjob for nearly 100 local residents.    Read less
