Domaine Chevillon-Chezeaux Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Aux Champs-Perdrix 2005

Member Review by zufrieden:

A cool, damp loam with over-ripe strawberry on the nose - though confit-deep and substantial; on the palate, the wine is definitely Nuits-Saint-Georges as the fruit is layered and deep with diminishing tannin and stemmy cranberry on the medium to long finish. Good value and will last another 3-5 years at least with prudent cellaring. 89-90 points.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
