Domaine Chandon is one of the most recommended wineries in the Napa Valley, and the only one with its own 4-star restaurant. The winery established its reputation with sparkling wines, and in 1989, the winery began crafting still wines from the classic Champagne varietals Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
Salmon colored in the glass. Nice notes of berry and citrus with a touch of minerality. Soft and well-balanced structure.

Much better than the Brut; our house sparkling wine.
Given the price it's an excellent alternative to Champagne. Superb value for money.

Creamy vanilla and raspberry aromas lead to appealing flavors of strawberry and spicy lemon in this fun glass of bubbles. Drink now.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Blanc de Noir (literally “white from black”) sparkling wines and the Chandon is a favorite for value. Produced from the noble black grapes of Champagne Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier this California bubbly is bursting with ripe strawberry pomegranate and white plum notes overlaid with lovely floral violet aromas. The tangy fruit flavors are lively on the tongue and the mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. Although terrific on its own (for sipping or celebrations) I love to serve this with salmon canapés or omelets.
This Blanc de Noirs — 91% Pinot Noir with small amounts of Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier — opens with a tad ripe, with a light and airy mousse and a predominance of strawberry flavor. It’s easy to like — dry, soft and round with a long finish.
A good sparkling wine for the price. Medium-bodied, it has pretty flavors of strawberries and limes. The bubbles are a little fierce in texture.
Wine Tasting NotesChandon Blanc de Noirs is characteristically a delicate salmon color. Wild cherry, currants and strawberries dominate both aroma and flavor. These vibrant red fruit flavors linger across the palate and are balanced with lively acidity and a soft, lingering, creamy texture.
While this bubbly is technically dry, it tastes sweetly infused with the essence of strawberries and vanilla. The mouthfeel is fine, with a gentle scouring of acidity and the slight sourness from its lees. Drink it now with almost anything, especially sushi.
Floral raspberry aromas lead to crisp and appealing citrus, spice and cherry flavors, with a lively finish. Drink now.
