Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir Carneros Famous Gate 2009
External Reviews for Domaine Carneros Pinot Noir Carneros Famous Gate
Smooth, ripe, moderately rich and polished, with a pretty core of black cherry, plum and anise, turning plush and detailed on the finish, where mineral and leather nuances show up.
A Pinot Noir wine from California in USA. 2009 Carneros, Domaine Pinot Noir 750ml
Marked by light smoky, toasty oak, this offers supple plum, wild berry and raspberry fruit that turns delicate and elegant, ending with subtle flavor nuances.
Smooth, ripe, rich and concentrated, with layers of ripe cherry, plum and wild berry, turning plush and polished. Drink through 2005.
An attractive, medium to dark ruby-colored Pinot Noir, Domaine Carnerosrsquo;s 1997 exhibits a smoky, spice, cherry/strawberry-scented nose, medium body, and admirable purity. While not the most complex style of Pinot Noir, it is tasty and smooth. Drink it over the next 2ndash;3 years.
Floral, anise and crushed berry aromas are intense, supple and balanced, built around raspberry, wild berry and hints of strawberry. Ends with an elegant minerally edge. Drink now through 2013.
This is the most attractive and successful of the wineryrsquo;s three releases of 2007 Pinot Noir. Itrsquo;s dry and crisp in acidity and very rich, with oak-inspired waves of cherries, cola, mushu plum sauce and smoky sandalwood. Drink this elegant wine in the next year or two.
