Domaine Carneros Pinot/8 2007
In celebration of the 2007 Pinot Noir harvest, our winemaking team will lead you through the intricacies of Pinot Noir winemaking. Brunch will follow on the terrace paired with an array of our wines. Reservations are required $100.00 per person. Tickets to this event are only available to Chateau Society Members and their guests. All event guests must be 21 years of age.

This is the most attractive and successful of the winery's three releases of 2007 Pinot Noir. It's dry and crisp in acidity and very rich, with oak-inspired waves of cherries, cola, mushu plum sauce and smoky sandalwood. Drink this elegant wine in the next year or two.
This bottling has been getting steadily richer and better over the years and has now reached the point where it's an authentic Carneros beauty. The '06 is a Pinot Noir to drink now, to savor its raspberry and cherry freshness, crispness and silky texture.
Floral, anise and crushed berry aromas are intense, supple and balanced, built around raspberry, wild berry and hints of strawberry. Ends with an elegant minerally edge. Drink now through 2013.
Smooth, ripe, moderately rich and polished, with a pretty core of black cherry, plum and anise, turning plush and detailed on the finish, where mineral and leather nuances show up.
