Domaine Carneros Champagne Blend Carneros Brut 2010
This powerful yet elegant wine shows off an array of citrus flavors, tropical fruit (including pineapple and passion fruit), and a hint of toastiness. It is racy on the palate and long on finish. Food Pairing: Versatile as fine with oysters as it is with filet mignon. Our winemaker particularly loves it with cheeses or roast chicken.
Refreshing bubbles with a palate that's medium-bodied, with notes of citrus and hints of brioche.
For 20$ price point, this is my go to bubbly, absolutely divine, floral, crisp and well rounded. Fine bubbles and a refined flavor profile make this one I will always reccomend... Taittinger breeding is evident .
Three and a half glasses
Traditional method, certified organic, and estate grown. Aromas of yellow lemon biscuits apples, pears, and white peaches. The palate also gives the flavors of lemon biscuits, peach, melon, honeysuckle and apricots, a complexity of flavors, a creaminess throughout the entire experience and excellent with cheeses! I had the pleasure of tasting at Domaine Carneros and paired well with brie, goat, and a mild cheddar cheese. My fiance and I enjoyed it so much that we purchased a magnum!
A very nice sparkling wine from California that has the requisite yeasty/bread aromas as well as nice ripe fruit. I believe this one has a tiny percentage of Pinot Blanc, that I could swear I was picking up on (although I think it was my imagination as my palate isn't that good). All in all, a great value for sparkling.
Had a glass this weekend-- it was a lovely wine with nice complexity. A very nice choice at around $20/bottle.
Eric Asimov's Times Review: Toasty and creamy, with lively flavors of lemon and apple.

The cuvee intertwines lovely floral aromas of honeysuckle and freesia accented with fruit impressions of melon and peaches. Notes of brioche, caramel and baking spice add to the complexity. The wine finishes with the signature creamy flavors for which Domaine Carneros is famous.
This is a glamorous, fashionable wine that gives the pleasure you want in a bubbly. It’s dryish and crisp, with doughy yeast, raspberry and lime flavors. A good price for a California sparkling wine of this quality.

Light yellow-gold. Pear, melon and honey on the pungent nose. Juicy and broad, with sappy orchard fruit flavors braced by a tangy lemon zest nuance. Finishes with good clarity and bite, leaving a bitter citrus note behind.

Produced by Taittinger, this is an excellent value in California sparkling wine. It has an impressive complexity with aromas of yeast, apples, vanilla and spice, and a smooth finish.
