- Deep, almost black color and explosive, earthy, dark, earthy fruit aromas merge seamlesslly with medium weight, rich, full flavors that display plenty of old vines intensity and this is simply a terrific Savigny. If it can add additional complexity with bottle age, my score will need to be adjusted upward by several points.
