Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay Pinot Noir Brut Mendoza

Editorial Review by Snooth Editorial:

Musky earthy aromas of sandy soil and clay on the nose with hints of peach, melon and dried sage. Continues to be earthy and concentrated on the palate with lemon and grapefruit citrus fruit, floral peach and dried apricot and a pervasive leesy earth throughout that's dusty and drying.

Jean Bousquet was already a successful winemaker from Carcassonne in the south of France in 1990 when he decided to relocate to Mendoza, and went on an extensive search for the ideal vineyard location. In 1997, he finally established himself in Topungato, attracted by its high altitudes (for superior grape balance), climate and rich soils. The wines are available in a line of Premium Varietals (includes Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Torrontes and a Malbec/Cab rosé), as well as Reservas, Grande Reservas and a sweet, late harvest Malbec dessert wine.  Read less
