Winemaker's Notes:

The Grande Réserve - Los Vascos is the product of selection from the vineyard’s finest plots of land. “Grande Réserve” is produced traditionally and aged in French oak barrels, it is characterized by its persistent and complex bouquet. A totally unusual rainfall at the end of March caused a justified alarm prior the harvest. Fortunately, the damages of March were not important and the harvest developed normally in terms of weather in the Colchagua area. Previous summer months had been warm, after a rainy spring. The growing season developed in very good climatic conditions for the grapes. // The wine is a dark and brilliant ruby color with aromas of pencil shavings and ripe wild strawberries and insinuations of chocolate and mint. It has a soft and velvety palate with marvelous tannins totally blended into an array of ripe red fruit. It is drinking well but can age for another five to eight years.
