Related to Domaine Lénaïc Legros (see below), as he is the 27 year old son of owner Christiane Bachey and the winemaker for both domaines. The approach here at this 15 ha domaine is manual harvesting, 100% destemming, an élevage of about 14 months in 20 to 25% new wood. (A Becky Wasserman Selection, Le Serbet, France - sbw@wanadoo.fr). Brighter and fuller without the robust, chunky quality of the structure and while this too is firmly tannic, there is a bit better buffering material and overall balance. Mouth coating and dusty though not astringent on the finish.
