Lénaïc Legros and his brother Samuel have folded their domaine into that of their mother Christianne Bachey. (A Becky Wasserman Selection, Le Serbet, France - sbw@wanadoo.fr). Moderate but not intrusive oak and vanilla notes frame ripe resin and orchard fruit aromas that are consistent with the delicious, rich and round flavors that offer decidedly better phenolic maturity as well as better depth and length. There is not the same degree of minerality but this is a more complete wine, as it should be for its level.
