- Stunning right now. Probably the most complex 2000 burg I have had recently. Up'ed a number of top 05s including some Meo grand crus.

- Charles Rousseau professed himself to be extremely pleased with his '00s, calling them unusually spicy and très pinot, even more so than '99 in this regard. He commented that the grapes were very ripe and that yields were between 30 and 35 hl/ha. Despite the elevated ripeness, M. Rousseau said that there was no trouble with low acidities. Bottling will occur as it usually does in May or June for the villages and continuing until August for the Chambertin and Clos de Bèze.
