Domaine Andre Neveu Sancerre Rouge le Grand Fricambault 2011

The most perplexing wine I've tasted in years, this Sancerre pinot is probably a genuine expression of its locale but I found the experience overwhelming and grating--most likely I'm too taken with Burgundians. So please take this low rating with a boulder of salt. I can't say I'll be trying another red Sancerre: though this was admittedly my first.
