Domaine Allimant-Laugner Crémant d'Alsace NV
Classic, traditional, family-owned winery which has produced wines since 1724. Located in the small town of Orschwiller, part of the renowned wine route of the Alsace region of France. Small production, but very fine quality of D.O.C wines at reasonable prices.
Where has this been all my life? Extraordinary shell pink color, with copper glints in it. Medium bead, very active. Aromas and flavors of fresh strawberry, with some stone and mineral, almost chalky notes on the long finish. Extraordinary QPR. Will be buying all the rest the store has.
