User Reviews for Domaine A. & P. de Villaine Bouzeron Aligote

Winemaker's Notes:

Bourgogne Aligote, the other white grape variety of Burgundy, that has lovely apple fruit with good body that is similar to Chardonnay, but has mouth watering acidity that gives it an extremely refreshing quality. This Aligote is produced by Aubert de Villaine, *co-owner of Domaine de la Romanee-Conti*. Together with his wife Pamela he owns Domaine A & P de Villaine in Bouzeron. The 2010 Domaine A & P de Villaine Bouzeron Aligote comes from a great vintage for white Burgundy that expresses beautiful minerality, fresh apple fruit, and zingy citrus finish. A fine aperitif, by itself, or can accompany fish and chicken dishes very well."The 2010 white Burgundies are some of the *most riveting* young wines I have ever tasted.... the essence of everything *great* Burgundy can be..."
