Dom Ruinart Rose Vintage 1996

Winemaker's Notes:

In the champagne world where quantity precedes quality Ruinart stands for exclusiveness, elegance and savoir-faire. Ruinart Rosé, as with all Ruinart champagnes, is made with a high proportion of Chardonnay giving great finesse and elegance. The actual blend is 45 % Premier Cru Chardonnay and 55 % Premier Cru Pinot Noir. Orange-yellow, rose petal in colour it shows a subtle fruity nose: small red berries such as redcurrant and blackberry. Vigorous and rich with a well-balanced palate this is a fine, smooth, and supple wine with notes of morello cherry.
