Dom Perignon Limited Edition Rose Champagne Metamorphosis Iris Van Herpen 2003

External Review by WineExpress.com:

A limited edition release from Dom Perignon of their exquisite Rose Champagne. Inspired by the way Dom Perignon Champagne transforms over time, Dutch fashion designer Iris van Herpen has created an intriguing limited edition bottle and signed gift box to celebrate the revolutionary metamorphosis of Dom Perignon Vintage Rose 2003 into its Second Plenitude. This release arguably represents the most ambitious Champagne/fashion collaboration to date. Highly collectable and very limited Dom Pérignon “Metamorphosis” displays all of the hallmark power, opulence and intensity that marks the 2003 harvest as being one of the most attractive of recent times. Critics raved and high handed out high scores. The Wine Spectator scored it 96 and said "Finely detailed in texture, with an expressive flavor profile of strawberry pâte de fruit, biscotti, ground anise and ginger, matched to vivid acidity and a rich, minerally character. Broad and creamy on the palate, featuring a long, echoing finish. Drink now through 2029." All Champagne orders require 3-5 days processing. No express delivery available on Champagne.
