This is an unoaked Syrah that comes from the pictoresque Majoma mountain region. These young vines are planted in schist-based soil at a 500 feet above sea level. This elevation allows for cooler temperatures that in turn preserve acidity on the palate.

Very interesting. Lots of earth, a thick and creamy feel in the mouth. On first drink, I thought it was one of the best wines I've ever had. After an hour, it had taken on a decidedly more acidic quality. Far better than its price would suggest.
