Dolcetto San Luigi Dogliani DOCG Pecchenino 2016

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Lively and lush, the Dolcetto grapes that go into this wine are cultivated on a 54 acre vineyard site with calcareous soils and southern exposure where they reach full maturity. Fermented and aged in stainless steel the bright fruit gets full expression here. Wine Spectator scored this 91 points saying "Aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, earth and spice are the hallmarks of this juicy red. Approachable now, with some tannins on the finish. Decant now or cellar short-term. Drink now through 2021."

The estate holds 60 acres of vines mostly in the Dogliani commune.
