Perfect when you want something light, a little fruity, middling dry/sweet, and refreshing after a hot day.
The color is very light but not clear, the nose has a little pear to it but I had difficulty in identifying the fruit. The flavor was good with a tart aftertaste. I had it with grilled yellow fin tuna and it went well with the fish.
Love it! Crisp and tart...wonderful with the dinner I prepared. Grilled apricot pork tenderloin with roasted asparagus salad with citrus dressing!
IWC 91pts. - Tasting Notes - Bright straw green. A mixture of fresh citrus and tropical fruits. Rich and full bodied, displaying an excellent balance of fruit and acidity with a lingering fresh lime finish. Match White meats, pale cheeses and seafood - especially scallops and oysters. Ideal wine to enjoy young but may be cellared for 2+ years.

A Sauvignon Blanc wine from Marlborough in New Zealand. 2007 Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc 750ml
Dog Point Vineyard is a collaboration between two former key staff members of Cloudy Bay, enologist James Healy and viticulturalist Ivan Sutherland. Both left Cloudy Bay at the end of 2003 and have produced their own wines from the 2002 vintage forward. The wines are hand-crafted from estate fruit grown on some of the oldest vines and best sites in Marlborough. Yields are low, and the grapes are hand-harvested. The winemaking is non-interventionist, and all the wines (with the exception of the stainless Sauvignon) are given extended barrel aging with minimal racking and handling. Bottling is done without fining and with minimal filtration.
