Add your reviewOutstanding wine. Picked this out of 8 or 10 2006 NZ Pinot's at a tasting. Have gone through several of them already. Writing this from memory: Ruby red, totally taken in by earthy smell which was so inviting and complex. Long finish, well balanced and the striking memory is one of silkiness on the palate, much like what the finest of burgundies offer.

This superb wine boasts aromas of ripe red fruits infused with violets and anunderlying earthy character. It is richly flavoured with dense red and blackfruits and the palate shows a combination of excellent tannin structure, wellintegrated oak and a rounded, lingering earthy finish. Great with duck ortruffled venison.
