Distefano Grenache Columbia Valley 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2005 Grenache shows off the playful side of DiStefano winery. Blended with 4% Malbec, this wine shows off a lot of bright red cherries in the nose. Raspberries from the briar patch enhance the spicy anise and pepper in the nose and palate. baked berries, raisin, and cassis tingle the palate with a hint of smoky oak. We recommend slightly chilling before serving with your favorite barbeque.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
