Aromas of blackberry, black tea, and flowers. Bright fruit in the center, with nice acidity. Like the lift of this wine, and its deeper black tea, tobacco, and violet notes. Really nicely made for the price (ca. $13)
Keep in mind that everyone's palate is a little different. This wine had a decent smell to it. Read the other review. I've been trying a variety of Malbec vinos and was hoping for something decent for the 10 bones I paid for this. To me... it had no front end, no mid palate, and the back end lasted about 2 seconds and then vanished. Casper The Ghost style. This wine gave me a buzz... but there are cheaper and better wines I could easily do that with. I'll look for more wines by this vendor in the future... hopefully a better effort will come from Argentina. So far, my money is still on Altos or Reserve Altos... excellent Malbec! Sorry Diseno... maybe another year or two. Cheers!
Nice cherry-ish taste, easy to drink, nice when chilled and sitting for a few minutes
I gave it a 5 for it's value. Careless tranquil enjoyment. Such an easy conversation wine that the favor isn't in the foreground or back ground just right. If you like Cellar 8 you should enjoy this wine.
