Diseño Malbec 2006
The aroma only offers light berries, but the flavor is so sweet and juicy with loads of raspberries and cherries. Very smooth, light tannins and bright acidity. Very drinkable on its own and at $12 a very good value. What's not to like.Add winemaker's notes

A half twist of orange earth bridged by the ice blue Andes, watched over by a graduated D. This is a thoroughly modern crimson red wine. The more I drink it, the more I like it (don't laugh). The label hints at pearls of blueberry and shards of dark brown chocolate that perfectly describe the full, fruity appealing taste.
I always get a kick out of buying wine by the glass. Why? Because I know any good restuarant will make a killing by selling wines by the glass. Double if not triple the price of what it really cost by the botttle. I love this wine and now knowing what it cost by the bottle, sign me up for a case.
Sweet, bright cherry aroma. Smoky cherry, berry tongue with a smooth, oaky finish that tapers fast but lingers just enough that makes you take another sip. Can't wait to buy this one again! I drank the entire bottle in one night & was disappointed when I poured out the last drop!!
Lots of berry, nice smooth malbec
great wine and a great value...big upfront fruit with a nice spicey finish really worth the $$ -- i got some a de wine spot in brooklyn and loved ...really cool shop by te way
Another great Malbec from Mendoza! Deep red color, lilac and cherry blossom nose, with hints of deep blueberry, dark chocolate, and a bit of tabbaco. Very smooth finish. Price is a go!
