Didier Dagueneau Silex 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Silex, barrel-fermented and aged, is made from 35 to 65 year-old vines on the silex-rich soils which Dagueneau believes make the most structured, 'intellectual' Pouillys. It confirms Dagueneau's view that Sauvignon is one of the most complex and subtle grapes and that its wine are as noble as white Burgundies.

Really enjoyed. Aroma and texture, long finish.
