Food Pairings for Di Arie Petite Sirah Shenandoah Valley
Terrific red-purple color. Pretty big nose--oaky, woody, but also somewhat flowery. Predictively big on the palate--berry, plum flavors, but not nearly as tinnic as one might expect from this varietal. Fruitiness pervades through the palate. Nice, sprightly, lingering finish. US$17.99 at Total Wines.
